I have three Black Kuhli Loaches--very cool. Very active at feeding time, too; they have not done the disappear-for-months trick so far.

Now the LFS has recently gotten a batch of standard kuhli -- the ones with stripes. I don't really want another full set of kuhli's. Will one striped kuhli school with the blacks, or will he be an outcast?

I do not think Kuhli(s) school.

Well, no, they don't in the strictest sense. But they are sociable in such that when one is active, they are all active, and they hang out in their hideouts together.

They should shoal together.
