I frequent BME quite often, trying to come up with ideas for new body art. Today while visiting I took a look around the piercing section, which I haven't looked at before. I cannot believe the things I found  Some people are sickos.

Bitsy, man, that is some twisted stuff!! I've seen enough weird s*** on humans, but on animals???? sheeesh

I really dont think all of it is that bad, some of it sure.
But with a dog geting him a very small tattoo in his ear, for general track purposes isnt all that bad, but piercings can rip and i wouldnt really want that to happen.

I suggest you all stay away from real farms then - branding, noserings, ear tattoos, "ear ring" tagging, cutting off beaks, permanent wing clipping, bobbing tails, driving nails into feet, castration, ... not to mention the whole slaughter house business...

I pierced an animal before.

Of course it was a fetal pig...

It was a bit gross when the girl who's earings we used put them back in her ears....

some of it is weird, but keep in mind that its very common to pierce the noses of cows with a ring. its a sensitive part of their body and its easier to keep them in line with a rope tied to the ring in their nose than if you were using a halter or something.

also, its common to tattoo dogs and cats with an ID number so they can be identified if they run away.

the piercing on the pig was a dead chunk of pig.

and the one cat, it says in the description that the hole was made by another cat in a fight and they thought it would be interesting to put a piercing in it. i doubt they would leave it in there.
