Diatoms, they should fade in time...

Tanks is probably too small for cichlids

you could try a pair of blue or gold dwarf rams after the tank is established...mine are doing great in my 20 gallon...i wouldn't do angelfish in a 20.

leave your lights off for few days and aeration 24/7
feed only little bit. that should help get rid of your green stuff maybe you could throw some floating plants to suck all the nutrients

is it too small for angel fish cichlids

Yes-- Too small for angels. OK for most dwarf cichlids (rams, apistos, ect).

yes you can put a pair of angels in a 20...but it is usually done bare bottom with frequent water changes.

a pair of angels would do better in a 30.

however, you could go with dwarf cichlids...Bolivian rams( a bit hardier), Blue rams(keep water clean), keyholes(bare minimum is a 20) appistogramma's etc..there are quite a number of dwarf cichlids that would do well in a 20. along with some dither fish and maybe some oto's.
