Could someone give me some info on these? I got a small one today for my 30 gallon puffer tank. Are they really a freshwater type or do they need brackish or saltwater? Eating isn't a question. Since it gobbled up lil krill, some tubifex worms and a black worm.

Specs for the Puffer Tank are.
Ph 7.0
Soft water
78 degrees
none of the bad stuff

Everything sound suitable or should the flounder get a 10 gallon tank of it's own until it gets bigger?

More about the tank in my tank specs link.

I'm not sure on the species you have, they may be different, but here in FL I've caught flounders in the Peace River which is compleatly fresh water. There are also MONSTER plecos in there... some close to 2' in lenght! They're scary when you're walking along the river and they decide to run :p They do like a sandy substrate to hide in though.. maybe make a patch of your tank that way if you have gravel in it already? Just a suggestion.
