Okay, I know I'm overstocked, but I'm keeping up a good maintenance schedule, and I haven't seen a spike in Ammonia or Nitrite. Here's what I have:

10 gallon
Medium planted (dwarf bacopba, anacharis, some sort of Amazon Sword, Jungle Val, crypt)
20-40 HOB Whisper
Hydor Ario 1 aerator

Fish:
1 male betta
pair of m/f Golden Wonder Killies (A. Lineatus)
2 Chinese Hillstream Loach (aka Borneo Suckers)
1 panda cory

I want to add 3-4 more pandas (my LFS ordered me some, and I'm obligated to buy them).

My question is that the male Golden Wonder chases the female all day, except at night to mate. Will it be out of the realm of possibility to add another female to give the current female a break?

Btw, I'm doing 40-50% water changes every 5 days with a grav vac. All the fish are thriving, and I've even found killifish eggs, and fry! Though, I think they've been eaten already . . .

Thanks!

That seems like an awful lot of fish for a 10 gal. R these 3-4 new panda's going in the 10 gal too? Panda corys get to be about 1.5" each.

IMO i think you have to many fish already. You might want to consider getting a bigger tank, if your thinking about getting another Golden or even adding the new panda's.

You might talk to the lfs, pandas are very popular and the lfs should have no issue selling them because you really don't have room for them right now. (in my opinion)

At the risk of being in the minority, I think you're alright. Adding 4 more pandas could be a bit much, though. You could add one so the one you have has some company. Your fish are well spread in terms of swimming space, and your water change schedule should keep the waste levels in check if you keep it up.

your tank is overstocked, and you should get another 10g, to bleed of some of the excess fish, or, even better, upgrade to a 20g or greater.

Yes and while you're at it build yourself a 3000g tank so you won't get flamed for your 10g.

No. I would def. be careful with more Pandas and keep the water parameters in check for a while. See how it goes, and if absolutely nescessary just take one or two back. Wait and see how it goes in terms of community and parameters. Good luck.

I agree with Momar, the tank isn't horribly overstocked and having live plants will help the water quality (if the plants are healthy). Upgrading to a 20 is optimal, but if you can't then go ahead and add more panda cories and a killifish.
