I have a 55 gallon with stand & hood, Fluval 404, 2 powerheads, UGF, 7 black neons, 1 bristle nose pleco, 3 cory's, 4 otto's, and 2 6-7" silver dollars. I have to move at the beginning of next month , and I will be extremely busy during the time after that. Although I've had some of these fish 4+ years I think it might be best if I give them away and take a break from fishkeeping.

I could dump them at a fish store but I don't know how I feel about that. I'd rather that I could give them to someone else who already keeps fish and knows how to care for them, instead of letting them be sold to whoever would buy them at a fishstore. Since I bought the whole setup a long time ago for an extremely good price, I don't feel like I have much of an investment money-wise into the whole thing. So I was thinking I could give away the entire setup, which would allow me to hopefully find someone who already keeps fish and would be willing to take another tank (and not just dump the fish at a petstore themselves). I don't need the fish to 'stay together', but knowing that they would move into someone elses collection would be nice.

I'm in AZ, phoenix area. Is anyone out there interested in taking this whole setup along with the fish, for the purpose of keeping them and 'assimilating' them into their collection of fish?

Would you be able to ship to new brunswick, canada? Im looking for another tank. Ive checked out before how much it costs to ship tanks, and it should only cost about $100 to send it here. Im not the richest of people and tanks are so expensive around here, but Im sure I could scrape up enough to pay for the shipping.

****, I wish people around here would give stuff away!

Rollin:

A friend here in Fredericton is selling a 70gal aquarium for $125. He's kept reptiles in it, and the tank would probably have to be re-sealed... it's still a good deal. If I had the room, I would have picked it up over the weekend.

DarthV, is it just the tank, or does other stuff come with it? Can you you give me the guys' number?

I would be more than willing to fly to you and pick it up. Please let me know if you have already got rid of it or what the deal is.

Also please let me know your exact location so i can kind of figure out airline/rental prices.

Thanks

Sorry, he is going with the others. But it shouldn't be a problem to get one of your own at the LFS? He was about $7.99 and is about 4" long, I've had him for 5 months. He was 'bristleless' when I got him but he now is starting to get pretty 'hairy'.
