if the male is slightly bigger than the female, is it alright?
my female is about 1 inch and male is about 1.5 inch. - 2 inches.
Well, from what it sounds like, your Cons aren't ready to breed anyways... When they reach about 4 - 5 inches, that's when you should be looking for whether or not they are going to mate...
Convicts will reach 4-5" but reach sexual maturity at an earlier age. My cons were 2.5-3" when they first spawned. The male was slightly larger than the female.

I've never had cons, but people on this forum have said that 1,5" is their sexual maturity size, I guess.

my brother has convicts and their eggs hatched yesterday they are about 2"-3", they have been breeding since about 1.5".

Yes, Convicts can breed about as small as 1" - 1.5"

LOL. i've wasted time!!! ok...........my guess is the orange dots in the cup are eggs, so such a small cup will do eh?
i have a really big pot in my tank...........hehe. would that be ok?
and btw, i can my Severums hangout around that area when they're breeding?
