I know that with CO2 injection, one should minimize aeration during daylight hours to prevent CO2 from escaping the water.
Does the same apply with Flourish Excel? I have only lightly to moderately planted tanks with fish being the stars, so I leave aeration on all the time. My plants seem to be growing just fine. There's also less algal growth when I use Excel.
