shrimp gang?

I ocassionally feed my puffers ghost shrimp, and some escape and make it to the rocks. It appears they have formed a small gang and roam the tank, and my puffers seem to leave them alone. With they hurt my LR/coraline algae? Is it common for shrimp to form gangs?

no, I don't think they will hurt it, and yes, shrimp do like to form gangs. I assume you are talking salt?

oo also, new question (it's probably more suited for thepufferforum.com but I'll give it a shot). Could I put an urchin in with my puffers, or no?

i have seen doccumentaries where puffers blow at urchins just like triggers sometimes do. it rolls them over and then they chew up the soft underside. it may have been a once in a great while thing, but there is a possibility of it.
