The nice thing about having a job you hate;

Every minute away from work seems so much better!

No I actually enjoy my job a lot. I work for a general contractor, and we do everything from start to finish, residential and comercial. Its nice to look at a building and being able to say "I built that". My job allows me to travel, many places arround the greater bay area, as well as a custom home in oregon and a cingular wireless R&D lab in texas(thats just what I have done to date). I will be in alaska sometime next year working on both a log cabin and a cellular relay site. Im currently adding a second floor to our woodshop, and am in the planning stages for building 3 comcast cable offices, as well as a training site for comcast outside of santa cruiz. Besides, all the hard work saves me a fortune on gym memberships :p

yeah, I enjoy my work too. I learned, from watching my parents, at a very early age that I should never do anything that makes me miserable on a daily basis. That's the best/only thing they ever taught me.

Even if the entire job isn't great (like I worked at a busy coffeeshop and was the ONLY employee on weekdays), I find little things that I enjoy. Like dealing with the nice customers was great.

"I see you have been missing a lot of work lately...."

"Well, I wouldn't say I have been missing it." :Angel: :Angel: :Angel:

Some days I like my job and other days I really just don't want to be here. Today is one of those days bc the AC is broken and the heat index is 110*

I'm starting to dislike my job. I think I'm in need of a whole career change all together. . . .

We'll see what the future holds...

I love what I do. Design is very expressive-when a client allows it-and most of the time it can be very satisfying. I just recently got into web design and I'm enjoying it more and more. When I have time (Ha!) I want to build my own website with a section for my portfolio.
