So, I just got 8 white cloud minnows to cycle my 55 gallon tank and within one day, 4 of the 8 have somehow managed to commit mass suicide by jumping out of the tank near the filter. Unfortunately I have only found 1 of the 4, but I am pretty sure the other three fell into a vent which I can't access because it is partly covered by my tank stand. This has been a bad fish week. A few days ago, one of my yoyo loaches died of ick. I am a mass murderer!!
Oh well, just wanted to vent.

Try to find some way of covering the opening by the filter to prevent any more jumpings.
How hot is your tank? White clouds like it cool, like in the high 60's or low 70's. Too hot and they may be looking for some new place to go.

its 78. i thought they liked it in the mid to upper 70's. i guess i'm wrong. i had some in a tank with angels and zebra danios in the past and didn't have any problems.

I just found on a site form google that the white clouds are fine in temps from 55-75. Maybe you could just lower your temp two degrees.
The white clouds will live a lot longer in cooler water
