Enema Dosage

Ok, I am getting ready to start dosing ferts in our 30 gallon and and trying to round up the supplies as per Tom Barr's suggestions. I got the enema and am headed out to get the stump remover, I just haven't been able to find the potash of sulpher in anything smaller than a dump truck or rail car load(not kidding). Does anybody know how much of an enema the tank needs? It is heavily planted and injected by DIY. I am just not sure how much to start with.

Also, I have seen reference to jobe plant spikes, but I haven't found any reference to the composition.

Any help appreciated.

I've been growing root feeding plants quite successfully without using any root tabs or spikes. My Amazon Swords are huge and beautiful using Tom's recommendations for ferts and I haven't seen the need. IMO, in gravel ferts can cause problems with algae if they come out of the substrate or aren't buried deeply enough so I stay away from them.
Try to get a print out from your local water company to find out what's in your tap water. You may have all the PO4 you need right in the tap water. However, if you're doing the 50% water change thing every week it won't hurt to add 2-3 drops of Fleet Enema once or twice a week. Pick up a PO4 test kit and you'll be able to dose as needed. My plants suck the stuff up like crazy so I dose a bit heavier.
