Hello!
Fairly new to the planted tank, and so far I love it! I like my tank now, but think it needs to be taken to the next level....I want a mini jungle!

I was wondering if a CO2 system would be recommended for a 7 gallon tank. All the info I see on CO2 systems are going into far more greater sized tanks than mine, so wasn't sure of the toxicity that could come into play with a smaller tank.

The plant guru at my LFS was telling me to just use the coke bottle method and connect to my filter (bio wheel 100)........just curious if anyone had any tips for me....Thanks!

For that small of a tank, I'd suggest one of those hagen CO2 systems. It's cheap, has a small neat size, is easy to set up, and should put out a good amount of CO2 for that size tank. I used to use 2 on a 20 gallon, and even then it never got above 30ppm CO2.

Hmm...Looked it up and for $20, not bad! I certainly have space to have that installed and barely noticable. Very nice, thanks!

I'll have to post pics when I have a crazy overgrown jungle (my puffers will be so happy!)
