Rio Pump (pic)....
My Rio powerhead stopped due to a single snail blocking the impellor. Lucky the motor didn't burn up and after removing the snail, it still works. If you think your powerhead has died, always check further by removing the impellor and cleaning it out.
I've heard that Rio's are junk, and almost threw it out without cleaning it... Hmmm... Maybe it's time to get another since it might be tough to find a small pump like this Rio 50. I'm using it on my Power Reactor for CO2 (100 % diffusion..
).
