I'm afraid I don't have many photos of mine. Here it is, secured in a baffle, with the float hovering over the return pump intake.
First, you obviously want it in the section where the depth varies (ie where the return pump is) if you are using baffles.
You can either drill the side of the tank (if you're brave), or drill a baffle. If you drill the baffle, be sure the float will be able to move freely (not hitting the other side or the return pump) when it's in place.
Next, decide the water level you want, and mark the hole according to where the float will sit. Drill with a hole saw.
Secure the baffle in place ( I use silicone sealer), allow to fully cure.
Secure the float valve in place. Hook up to water supply.
The Kent has some ability for the level to be adjusted, and I assume the Coralife is the same.
