I just picked up two skunk shrimp (about time!), making them the first official residents of my marine aquarium. Anyways, I have about 15 lbs of LR in there with a good deal of life, mostly consisting of 3 or 4 kinds of sponges (there's another 8.5 lbs of base rock ripe for the seeding). I was curious as to what and how often I should feed them. They're picking pretty ferociously over the rock and sand. I was planning on given them a little frozen brine shrimp today or tomorrow, then maybe once every 3-4 days. Any comments? Thanks alot. I think I'll pick up a third on Friday.

Frozen brine is great, as are algae tabs/shrimp pellets. They'll go after anything they can find, cleaning up and leftovers once you have fish you're feeding. Til then, feeding every other day or three should be plenty, along with whatever they can scrounge.

Mine eat anything. Right out of my hand no less. Their favorite seems to be shrimp pellets, which I find quite ironic.
