Well it had to happen sooner or later! I was looking in my tank and I have seen at least 2 bristleworms! At least that is what I think they are, they look like little pink millipeds. These things are about a 1/4 of an inch long. Should I try to get them out? If so, what is the best way?

Any help would be appreciated!

i wouldnt worry about them at all. bristle worms are, for the most part, harmless detrivores and a sign of a healthy tank. the members of the fireworm family are the ones you need to watch out for. unless you actually see a bristle worm attacking a coral or fish leave them alone. i have many bristle worms in my 75 gallon reef and never have had a problem with them.

Bristle worms are some of the best part of your clean up crew. Leave them alone.
