(1) - Marine-Glo 30w. (1) - Superlight plant lamp 30w. (1) - normal fluro.

is this to much light to have plants with fertz but no co2. i allready have plants in the tank mostly grasses but was wanting to add some ferns ect. i also bought clipppings about 2 months ago and there starting to go down hill. i havent started adding fertz yet.

after this pic i added more grasses.

Well, I'm assuming the Marine-Glo bulb is not a plant bulb, so it's probably not going to help plant growth.

If it were me, I'd make sure all the lights are for plants. With 3-30 watt plant bulbs, you would be at 1.5 watts-per-gallon, which is good for low-light plants. This is definitely not too much light.

The plants I would recommend for low lighting are:
-java moss
-java fern (there are about 3 different types)
-cryptocoryne
-anubias
-maybe some hygrophila siamensis 53B

The marine-glo is an actinic bulb, which is designed for saltwater reef tanks. While I won't say it's useless for plants, it's benefits haven't been studied much. Plants do use light in the blue wavelength, but they also require light in the other spectrums as well. I would still consider your tank a low light tank.
