Emeperor 400 and penguin 330

What would be better for my 20 gallon? i already have an aquaclear mini. I know the emperor would be better but i dont think it is necesary. Also would the penguin fit on the back of my tank? It is 24 inches long.

How about an Emp 280? That's a pretty good size for a 20. Of course, it depends how your tank is stocked...

If you already have an aqua clear on it, then I would suggest just getting a penguin 170. An Emp 400 with or wihout another filter is a bit much for that tank, even for me. ;)

I cant resist the two waterfall things on 330 tho. I dont care about the filtration, it looks awesome. LOL

Those waterfall things are bio wheels. All of the penguins and both Emps have them.

I went with the 170. It works awesome. Your right it is big enough. And guess what... I got ripped off to. I payed 50 bucks for that thing:( i could get a 330 for 25 on the internet or at petco but i didnt want to make my dad drive all the way to petco. There was an AC 500 for $81.00. and all of the fish there are WAY over priced but so far none have dies for no reason. The guy that works there is also really knowledgeable. I want to keep him in buisness because it is an awesome fish store but it is just sooooo expensive. I payed like $20 for 20 pounds of sand. And slate is like $2.09 per pound. I payed 70 bucks on rocks and still dont have enough. And get this... the charge 2.99 for the Ac mini foam block and 11.99 for the biological thing(cant think of the name at the moment) At petco it was 99 cents for both. But i dont like petco that much becaue they sell some fish that i dont like. I did by a hybrid mbuna tho. It wasnt purposely made like that and all of its parts could properly work and it had a normal shape so i bought it. It looked kinda cool. Just wanted to share the outrages prices i pay:( ( igot kinda carried away with some other stuff too:))
