Anyone else here about this? I heard it yesterday on CNN in amongst the war talk.. Apparently some sort of ferry sunk on the lake and they are fearing up to 125 casualtys.
yeh well done you should become a news presenter.
Note: I have edited this message to remove the negative personal comment. But I am leaving the thread here because of the Rift Lake connection. I think we're all flexible enough to handle that, yes?

Hmm...this should be in general chit chat.

Hanif's just a jackass, he apparently likes to call people the equivalent to "penis," and thinks himself to be better than the original poster, even though he starts much less pertinent, personal message-style threads.
While it would be appropriate for General Chit-Chat, I think that this item is pertinent to cichlidiots as well, but we would probably need a little more on the environmental impact to Tanganyika if it is to remain here.

No, I didn't mean that you were in the wrong. Hanif is just a twerp, and I felt a need to respond to him.

Thanks for leaving it, Harry...I would love to hear about the ecological impact of the crash (or lack thereof), but this is pretty important stuff to cichlidiots!
