Got Some Fish From The Sea!

hey guys well on sunday we went out on the boat and stopped at a sandbar were we hung out for labor day weekend and as we were snorkling around i found these 2 wierd looking black fish and caught them, i also caught a shrimp, and some weird long needle nose type of fish and put them in a water bottle with ocean water when i came home i left the bottle in the tank for a bit and then released them and they are living in the type perfectly fine.. i thought this couldnt be done but they are alive and well, let me go and try to get some pics so you guys can tell me what type of fish they are..

well its illegal but since you;ve already done it and returning them to the water after being captive is illegal to I guess I will help you.. please post pictures.

The needle looking fish probly wont live in your tank... they are related to seahorses. And the black fish is probly just a small version of a fish that will be way to big for your tank and not suitable for aquarium use.. the shrimp though might be alright.

Yep, I guess he's stuck with 'em now. Definitely don't release them again, as aquarium settings expose fish to exotic diseases which would ruin a natural system.
