hey all, no thats not where i hide my stash, i actually have a hairline crack in the top right corner of the front of my tank. i bought it at petsmart over 2 years ago and i dont know what i can do to fix it... like i said its a hairline about 5" with two little hairlines about an inch long on one side. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

can you take it back and get another one? if you can i would(speaking from experience here) it will come back to haunt you and its best to be safe then sorry but if you cant not too sure how you would go about fixing it so bump!
I believe with a hairline fracture already at 5" with offshoots your looking at either replacing the whole pain of glass or just replacing the tank altogether. Personally I'm not handy enough to trust myself to replace a glass pane. Also to replace one I'm pretty sure the tank would have to be completly dry to start and need a couple of hours to cure afterwards so probably a 3 day project. Whatever you do you need to do it before the tank fails altogether and dumps everything out into whatever room its in. If you do replace your tank and your old tank still has clear panes you may be able to find someone with reptiles who might want it.

if you purchased it a Petsmart it is probabally all glass of top fin (all Glass) in any case they have a lifetime warranty check it out you may be able to get it replaced free.
