I'm looking to upgrade to a 40 gal tall and the only thing that I can find that fits the footprint I need (30"x12") is this Seaclear 40 gal tall acrylic with Eclipse illumination AND filtration system...... Junk? Does anyone have experience with this system?? I currently have a Penguin biowheel 350 and a 20 watt full spectrum light, would this system be better? Any opinions would be helpful, Thanks!

The eclipse hood system is a nice system if you don't mind the price. It's quiet for that kind of filter, which is pretty much the same as an HOB filter. It uses the bio-wheel just like the penguin. The 2 20w fluorescent lights is barely enough for low light plants, the Eclipse hood isn't the best choice for a planted tank.

thanx for the reply!
