I have a FOWLR setup and I am trying to figure out what would be the best choice in lighting. I am on a tight budget so I am searching for something in the $50 range. Currently I have Eclipse brand Natural Daylight lights. My hoods are not setup in a dual light configuration therefore I need to find a light that give's me the most power and is the most cosmetically appealing. I have been looking at a number of brands such as, Coralife 50/50 50% Natural daylight 6,000k bulb. I think this might be my best option because I like the actinic 03 blue light that it gives off, but I am afraid that it will not be powerfull enough, such as a 10,000k light. Any suggestions please.

Hi, Trev and welcome to a.c.
If you arent' going to do invert you can go with what ever light your budget and personal taste dictates to you. As far as the coral life it should be bright enough for some softies if you want and probably most lps as well. If you're just keeping fish it should give them a nice shine!
