I`ve had a yellow leather under a moderate (medium) light for some month`s now & at night it closes up all tight then after an hour of light in the morning its fully open but every day are so it seems to get a slight black speckle algae are tank dirt on it this algae/dirt dose come of during day but just wondering if this is normal and can there be a way that this algae/dirt will never appear more water flow light etc

i cant get a clear picture it just comes out really really bright yellow due to the lights & colour on the picture & can not pick up are see what i'm on about with the black / dirt in areas at certain times i think its some sort of algae & some how the leather clears its self of it weather it eats it are it just blows off i'm not sure just wondering if people with Yellow leathers get this problem if it is one etc

It could just be dirt or algae does it move? Is it in any distress, sliming more than normal?

the leather seem to absorb it no its not in distress are giving off slime
