Driftwood?

Not sure where to post this. I have asked my wife to bring home some driftwood from the ocean this week. What should I do to this wood to make it safe for my aquarium? Thanks in advance.

I generally boil my driftwood for 10 minutes. Then I soak it for a week. Then rinse it off and boil for another 10 minutes. Allow to cool and add to tank. This is generally done with fully dried driftwood though.

Actually, the recommended boiling time is 3 to 4 hours. Scrub it real well first, then boil it.
