hey, just wonderin if anyone on these boards uses egg white to hold up your hawk? if u do, does it go stinky? am i better off using unwashed out saop?

ugh, haven't heard of that one. But have tried gelatin. It's nasty, don't do it. It stinks, takes on a disgusting consistency, and made me barf. Literally, it was so nasty, it made me sick. Dried egg doesn't sound much better :p:
I've heard Elmer's glue actually works pretty well.

all 3 options are viable. Generally, the gelatin used is unflovored Knox brand(at least for the EBGP)

yup, used Knox. It was the smell of horse hooves, or whatever gelatin is, that made me ill. Thinking back, a flavored one probably would have been better, not just for the smell but also the color :D

Egg whites ? Ugh. I was egged (on the head) in high school as a joke on my birthday. Yea, I never got the joke. People on the bus were like, 'Why does it smell like eggs in here?" and I was the only one with wet hair in the bus (I tried to rinse off as much as I could). I imagine you'd smell like eggs all day too.. ;)

theres a product called Got 2 be at (the dreaded) walmart, get the stiff version, a freind of mine uses it and his stays all night, and doesnt stink! his hawk is also 9 inches high so its really doing its job !( if i knew i wasnt talking about hair here i would be worried! )

I use got 2 be glued to spike my hair, but a lot of times people want thier hawk to stay up all week, if not longer. Most hair produckts dont last that long ;)

Got 2 B is nasty, I remember it would start to flake out if I messed with it when it dried. But just like the elmer's glue...

yeah FC, I think I have enough hair on me feet to do that. would have to wear sandles though.
