basically i am just sayin that the tank don't look so good cause it is empty pretty much cause the plants r so small, and its all good now it was just at first the water got kindda dark and there was ALOT of crap movin around the tank but it has all settled down
another question i have is was i supposed to take the metal and foam off from around the roots? (by "roots" i meen bottoms cause there was no roots) when i did it was hard to get the plants to stay in

Low light plants take longer to grow too--so you might want to arrange your tank in a way you like with the smaller plants. Rotala generally requires higher light, as do most red plants. Not all plants take a long time to grow in--my tank has grown in tons in the weeks since I planted it!

rotalas are pretty nice plants if you can keep them. they can give you a forest look. one of my favorite plants and it looks beautiful when pearling :) :)
that siamensis, i belive thats large hygrophila. it will grow big, when planting you must spread them out so when they grow, they wont be convering each other.
what i did with large hygro was i planted with short hairgrass and some hygros to give the big tree appearance, it came out alright.
Heck for $15 I'd expect that java fern to be attached to driftwood. One thing I've found is that plants can be hard to come by in LFSs. It may take some time for your aquarium to grow in and until then you really won't know for certain what you have going. Your going to find that some plants just don't seem to like your aquarium while others that you weren't sure about take off.

siamensis was probably grown out of water thats why, are the leaves changing colors??
wait till it adapts to your water itll take over your tank, grows superr fast
