They were in freshwater and they are quite tiny. I want to keep them in freshwater until they get some size and then move them to a brackish tank. I'd acclimate them now, except that my Knight Gobys will think they are food, they're so small. You know, once Knight Gobys reach a certain size, their mouths look just like the loading bay of an aircraft carrier. :D
Anyway, when I go to acclimate them, what is the amount of salt I start with and how often do I bump the addition up and when? Is it weekly or monthly/bi-monthly?
I use Instant Ocean marine salt if that makes a difference.

My gut feeling is a weekly bump of salinity from fresh to some salinity, i.e. 0 to 1.006 for the first increase (once you think they are at size) is probably the save approach.

From there I'd think you shouldn't have a problem with moving the SPG by .002 monthly till you get to where you want your tank to be.
