I know this is a good deal but tell me I should buy it..It comes with a stand, looks very new..It is a 50 gallon tank, maybe 48 inches in length..It has filters, undgravel filters with power heads, two power filters and a glass lid.It comes with the gravel and decorations, plants and stuff..It just does not have a light..I know it is a good deal..I am trying to see it today and buy it for $60, hopefully..I like the set up because it has natural gravel, plants, and rocks, very natural looking so that is what I want..And also I like the filters since I am more comfortable with a UGF..So what do you think?

I'm terribly cheap and try to get all tanks at $1 per gallon or less. I'd try to talk them down because its used :)

I agree it sounds like a good deal. Make sure the tank has no leaks. If everything is in good shape grab it up. There's a few hundred dollars there if everything was bought new.

i am cheap like Rallysman also but it depends. some people live in areas where there isnt that many tanks to chooise from. so some people might thing its a great deal when others say its a ok deal. i think there are other things that take into account. for me if i like the stand or tank i am willing to pay more.

Assuming you live in a somewhat well populated area of the US (which may not be the case) have you tried looking at your local Craig's list? Sometimes you can find some really good bargains....even free aquarium supplies. Some people may even leave the tank filled with water so you can see if it's leaking or not. Just a suggestion.

Otherwise, seems like you have a great deal there.

Sounds like it should be a good deal so long as the tank and stand are sound. Keep in mind your going to have to clean everything once you get it. Any used filter media should be tossed along with the gravel IMHO. Old gravel can hold onto gunk like its gold.

Yes, I am going to buy it..He told me it is 48 inches in length..That should be a 55 gallon since they dont make a 48 inch length in a 50 gallon..What got me thinking that I just bought a undergravel filter (new) for $32.00 and this one comes with one..I am returning the new undergravel filter to the store..So that is like $50 on what else I am getting..

Yes, I bought it at craigslist..In the past I bought a complete 55 gallon tanks with stands/filters/etc for $50 and I bought another complete 55 gallon/stand for $60..So yea, craigslist is the place to go..

Just to mention all glass makes a 50g 48" aquarium. I have one and the rough dimensions are 48x13x19. Pretty much a 55g, but 2" shorter if I'm thinking right. At least you live someplace where you can find good stuff on craiglist. My local craiglist has a 55g setup for something like $200.
