Looking good, clean and healthy! Is there any way to put the heater behind the driftwood to hide it?

The tank looks great, good job.
In regards to 55 gal with 40w....I have a couple of the same plants but with more lighting (30 gal with 36w)...granted mine hasn't been running even a month now, I'm impressed with the level of growth and lush-ness with that level of lighting.
How long has your tank been running?

Yep! Thats exactly where its going :D
And about the 40w, I can't really put more in without spending a fair bit of money.
I'm limited to a double strip flouro which is about 80watts. But that should be enough.

Fabulous! As soon as I'm done with my 55 I'll post pictures too.
Won't the angels eat the neons?
good luck
:)
Looks healthy. Nicely laid out. Good job at stitching together the pics.
The only other thing I could add to what has already been said is to encourage the grassy foreground plants to fill in completely.

Well I was going to remove most of the stuff on the left hand side and try and make a grassy plain, or move the stuff up the back and let most of the front fill in.
Is there any way to help make the grass fill in better?? Should I seperate it more?
Oh and about the angels eating the neons, the angels are starting to get rather big (A pair laid their first eggs the other day) so I'm always counting my neons to see when they start dissapearing ;) I thought maybe if they are both in there as juvenile's they might grow up and learn that they can be friends :p

Very nice tank. I especially like your second picture with the angel fish. Being gold, he shows up beautifully where he was posing.

In time they should spread out and fill in on their own. Or you could buy more. I have not grown this plant before. I'd like one of the experts to comment on dividing this plant.

Well I'm pretty sure its Hair Grass..........don't know about the Dwarf, thats just what I've heard it called.
Some expert opinions would be good :D
Flohrie, why not post the question in Aquatic Plants?
