Plant suggestions for a 20 high

I am thinking of setting up my 20 high with live plants and mainly keeping Blue Rams. The light strip I have is a Corallife 50/50 36 watt bulb. Thanks for any suggestions on plants for this planted tank newbie.

What type of bulb do I need. Perhaps I can get a different bulg for that strip. How about a 36 Watt 6,700K Power Compact Lamp. I think it will fit in my power strip. Thanks

6700K would be good, but you should really think about doubling that 36w so you can play with some plants that do a bit more than just java ferns and anubias.
 
I'd suggest Hygrophila polysperma, Ludwigia repens, Anubias nana and nana v. petite, a couple Cryptocorynes and dwarf sag (Sagittaria subulata) for the foreground.

That amount of light will keep the above plants happy no problem. You could also grow java fern, java moss, vallisneria, limnophila sessiliflora, most of the Hygrophila sp., Hydrocotyle leucocephala...
