STILL dealing with Planeria.

Ugh! I assume that is what it is. It does not seem to be affecting the fish in any way. Over the past month I've: Reduced feedings and amounts, tried daily water changes and scraping the glass during each one, Jungle Internal Parasite Guard (currently using with no effect).

It's just really getting to me now cause my water looks fantastic but when you get up close you see them on the glass and in the water. Almost looks like bubbles in the water but it's not.

The only thing I have not tried yet is a graumie to eat them up. I can't use copper because of the Silver Dollars. Any suggestions? I do have a 20 G QT tank I could move the SD's to if I had to use copper. What would you do?
 
Ah, darnit! And you were so happy with my last post about this problem! I have failed you. It seems like you've done everything that usually gets rid of them.

Seriously, I can't imagine them surviving the parasite treatment. How long have you been doing that?

I started on Saturday. 1 Tsp per 5 Gal as directed. Then changed 25% on Tuesday and added back the same amount. So actually there is a little more then 1 tsp per 5 gal.
 
You may still have a lot of debris left in your substrate. I'd continue with the water changes and really deep gravel vacs - get as close to the bottom pane of glass as you can. Accompanied with your reduced feedings, it should eliminate them within a few weeks.

you could try tossing in a piece of lettuce or zuchinni just prior to lights out and then remove it from the tank the next morning. you woll decrease the head count a little. Butm the mmost important thing is substrate and water quality.
 
That's the thing......my gravel is clean as can be. I do a deep gravel vac on every weekly water change. Hardy anny debris comes out since I do it so often.
