anybody help me identify these live rock growing creatures.

very fast I'd get some joes juice or shoot them full of lemon juice. They will take over your tank in no time flat.
agreed, aptasia is a real PITA. a copper banded butterfly or peppermint shrimp will also eat them.
actually, about the copperband butterfly, i put one of those in with my aiptasia and the aiptasia is loosing battle few months later, and i never thought that day would come. now i mostly have huge onse, all the small are gone, but my copperband is young and seems to avoid very big aiptasia
That's because it starts tasting worse and stinging more the bigger it gets. I'd give it a shot of lemmon juice or joes juice to get rid of it.
