AshDavid from another great site really made me start thinking on the background. The first thing I did was clean the algae off the back of the tank. That was a major improvement.
Then I took the background down and just kept the reflector as the BG. I wasn't as happy with the look.
Then I tried the blue BG. It really took alot away from the colors of the fish. I think if the blue wasn't reflective it would have been better.
I liked this a little better.
And then I tried these...which I like best of all:
I took some with a black BG...I will post later. Same thing with the refelctive black. I need flat black.
It was an interesting experiment in photographing the fish. More to come.
