New Photo ~ More of the same...kinda

AshDavid from another great site really made me start thinking on the background. The first thing I did was clean the algae off the back of the tank. That was a major improvement.

Then I took the background down and just kept the reflector as the BG. I wasn't as happy with the look.

Then I tried the blue BG. It really took alot away from the colors of the fish. I think if the blue wasn't reflective it would have been better.

And then I tried these...which I like best of all:

I took some with a black BG...I will post later. Same thing with the refelctive black. I need flat black.

It was an interesting experiment in photographing the fish. More to come.

I love them, Mojo! those fins look like feathers!!! I will have to say, I like the 1st pic best out of these, it's amazing how different the fish looks with the different backgrounds. My hat's off to your patience and posting this.

I have to agree - the first looks best to me too. Oh and the second to last one... wow. If it was bigger i'd use it as a desktop background.

i liked the first and second the most. i think it showed off the fish the best without drwing your eyes to the background
