My wife and I went to the LFS the other day to get plants for the new 5g bowfront. (Betta and Neons in this one)
She's looking at the plants, trying to decide when the ever so helpful LFS guy comes over. He asks what plants she may want and size tank she's going to put the plants in, so she tells him.
Just as I'm walking up to them, he gets a very "knowledgeable" look on his face and says, "Well, three plants might be a bit much in a 5 gallon, you might be overstocked."
I couldn't help it. I laughed and asked him, "Do you actually think plants add to the bio-load in a tank or something?" He just kind of wandered off, never said anything. The other guy, the one with some sense came over, shaking his head, and asked which plants we'd like...
