is it true that a dojo with a white bottom is a female. and fully coated on the body is a male? is it true? cuz i heard it somewhere. and i have a white bottom dojo

I didn't think that dojos had obvious morphological differences between the sexes.

Yes white bottom dojos tend to be females.The sexes can be distinguished by the pectoral fins. The pectoral fins of the male are much larger than the females'.
Also, the first two spines of the male's pectoral fin are much stronger than the rest. Dojo's do sometimes breed in captivity. Not many loaches do not however>

Withdrawn then...I found that on a rather *questionable* website with regard to loach information, so I will go with kuhli on this one.
