I really like my hermit crab, hes a new addition to the family. Only problem is he likes to chow my vegitation and thinks it cool to hang out on my leather coral... should i put it up for addoption. how much harm can they really inflict

Umh, it depends on what sort of hermit it is. Most people consider them eating algae to be a good thing .

Definately depends on the crab! The tiny(blues/reds) are great for that reason, keeping algae in check! Larger hermits, or other certain species can wreak havok on a reef, knocking things over, snacking on other animals/corals, etc. etc......

it is a small species, dark greenish with yellow dashes on its legs. now give me a warrant so i canarrest his *** and take him back to juvi....

hahaha no ive been watching it and it basically mows down my LF as well as smaller plants
