Missing In Action
Hi all, its been a while since if been here. i had to give up my aquarium coz of money probs but now im back!
im setting up a new 130gal tank. ill send details later, i was very happy about the whole thing so i just had to post. Be back tomorrow with all the details on the tank and system. :)

Thanks Max, good to be back. Here some stuff about the new tank.
Size: 140cm X 55cm X 65cm . Im going to use an overflow box(as shown in pic- ok a its a bad pic :) ), an insump refugium and deepsand bed. Ill send more info soon.

The overflow box will be apprx: 20-25cm X 10-15cm

Hi all, i was wondering about my lighting. I have the old style AquaStarlight MH system with 2xMH and a (so called)Moonlight in the middle. Ill have to get myself some actanic t5 or t8 s becsause the moonlight is a normal screw-on bulb with a blue filter-glass. The thing i was wondering is for 50cm deep water what MH lamps should i use. The tank is 55cm wide and 140cm long.

Just wanted to share the good news. The tank is setup full o water and got a nice deep(ish)sand bed. I put some LR in there too but it needs more. Hopefuly ill get the rest tomorrow. BTW anyone got any idea about the MH question i asked above?

Just a quick update, all is well and running fine. I added an automatic top-off system. Its home made but works ok :) Here are a couple of pics. The pic of the sand shows how the deep-sand bed has started to work.
