The other day I discovered an orange fry hiding at the bottom of my tank. I have no idea where it came from. I had two guppies give birth this week but other than that I had no other pregnant fish. I thought I say a gravid spot on one of my swordtails but it disappeared as quickly as I saw it and thought it was poop. I got these swordtails as babies in August; all female. I recently gave away 3 swordtails and one platy. The platy was fat but has been for months and the two I got with her passed away this summer from dropsy or bloat. Where could this fry have come from?
