Do any of you use power filters with activated carbon in your marine tanks? I've heard that they absorb some trace elements that are helpful so I bought a supplement. Is this suitable?
 
I only use it when I'm introducing a new coral or soft coral or, if I'm trying to remove some chemical etc. I don't use it long term and wouldn't recomend it.
