I have a 29 gallon tank with five african cichlids and an algae eater. I wanted to get some plants. I can't afford fancy lighting so I'm going to do the low lighted tank. I have a ten gallon tank with plants and it is doing fine. Problem is I just don't know what kinds of plants I could get that are low light and not high maintenced? Any suggestions would be great. Also, I only have blue gravel from Walmart is this ok with plants or should I get something else?

Thanks for your help! :)
