Help please Identifying this fish.

I caught two of these in a pond by my house in Central/Western Florida. I am suspecting baby tillapia but am not sure. They are sociable and live well with my platys, molly and danios. They feed off the bottom or catch the flake food as it sinks. They have no agression toward eachother or other fish. They are very active and fun to watch.

Yes they are wild caught.

A little more background on the location of the pond I caught these from. It is apprx. 1 Acre pond in the same park as a very large fresh water lake. The water could be slightly brackish because the only thing that keeps the lake fresh water is a dam that has been breached during storms and allowed the salt water from the gulf of Mexico into the lake. The ponds as far as I know have never had salt water introduced.

Anyway when I caught these fish I used a hand net with a long handle and scraped the bottom. Along with these 2 fish I caught 1 brown bullhead 2 inches long. At least 12 minnows that were very aggressive that I put back where I got them. I also caught about 2 dozen ghost shrimp that have all since disappeared. I think the bull head ate them. Fish that I know live in the pond are catfish, bullhead, tilapia and gar.

Being new to fishkeeping I did put all of these critters in my tank at once. And my previously cycled tank uncycled and caused all kinds of headaches trying to get things back to normal. Lesson learned.

I am suspecting they are a type of tilapia but no idea what kind. Any other ideas?
