I am quite new to cichlids and require some good advice as to how to stock a 33 gal tank I am currently setting up. I'm not sure wether I want to stick with dwarf cichlids (I now have a couple of Bolivian Rams) or go to the larger more agressive species. I plan to have plenty of live plants, driftwood and natural rock. Help!

Thanks

Well, I would conform your selection to your tank's water. If it's hard and basic, like 7.8+, I'd look into some Africans. You could probably hold 5 or 6 in a tank that long. We'll get into that later if need be. Otherwise is it is more neutral pH or slightly higher (7.4) then the Bolivians will be fine. Test your water and tell us what ya get.
