Is it safe to put rocks from the ocean into your fish tank.
Im concerned that the rocks may increase the saltyness of the water. If this happens does it really matter.

There's no salt in the rocks. None on them, either, once you've rinsed them.

What you might want to avoid is limestone, which is calcium carbonate that will raise your alkalinity.
