my angel eats a plant!:D

No joke! last night I put some new egeria in my tank and this morning I sat down to watch the tank and my angel releaves himself of some bright green poop. What in the world, I thought, I didn't feed him anything that color. then I saw the top of one of the stalks is denuded a half inch down!
ever since he discovered how good the algea wafers tastes(he eats most of what I put in now) he has picked at the tips of the egeria but never eaten that much at once.
Hmmm this is why that plant doesn't grow very well in my tank. None of the others I keep give me any problems

Not only did the egeria not last two weeks in the tank with my big angel, but as I look over my shoulder right now, he is gnawing on some water sprite.
This fish has the biggest appetite on the planet. He would eat a cat if I threw it in the tank.

My angelfish has been seen nibbling away at black brush algae before. Guess they like their veggies too.

feed them peas,lettuse,spinach any thing that is a green veggie which should minimise the problem and if not get rid of it all togeather

ps not asspragas or brussel sprouts(nothing like them)or garlic(no spices)
