Yeah gday. I have two texas, a jag, a red devil, three convicts a black shark and two aussie natives in a four foot tank that i keep at about 28 degrees celcius. Anyway one texas i have is the biggest fish in the tank, about 5 inches. Anyway i had him by himself for about a year in only a two foot tank but have recently chucked him in the bigger tank. He is the largest and is the most dominant fish in the tank, however i havent noticed any changes in his size in the three or so months hes been in the larger tank. (hes about 1 year 4 months old.) I feed them a variety of food like blood worms, earth worms pellets but mostly feeder fish. (mosquito fish.) All the others seem to be growing except him. Can anyone please provode me with information on fish growth. thankyou

How big is the bigger tank? If it's a four-footer or so, your Texas isn't going to grow all that much, especially with other fish present.

If that fish is a female, that may be all you get (especially if you've actually got a Carpinte rather than Cyanoguttatus).
