what are some of the prices you guys have seen dwarf puffers sell for? im thinking about buying a few from a fish store for 12.99, but i would like to know if its a good price or not. im thinking about doing a 30g long species tank, or stocking my 125g with some dp's and other fish. by the way, it says im new here, but i just havent been here for a LONG time. i used to visit this site daily a few years ago (same email and name too).

My local privately owned LFS sells them for $4 Canadian, they ordered them in when I suggested them. Perhaps you could try asking at a different store and see if they are on a list of available and the price might be much better.
nope, asking another fish store isnt an option... there is only one near me (that i know of). there is also walmart hto, and someone told me a long time that worked there that they would special order fish. but i doubt that guy still works there...
Needles, CA? Ouch... around here (San Gabriel Valley area) I wouldn't pay more than $2 each...
