Hi,

I have a 50gal reef tank. My gulf-view rock came with so much macro algae that I'd like to try having something trim it back a little. Since my tank is 36", a yellow tang is out of the question. I've heard of some blennies that will eat algae. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have seen algae blennies and don't consider them too attractive but are there any other blenny species that will also eat algae?

Thanks

Brian

From what I know - Molly Millers, Horned Blennies (very nice looking IMO), Horseface, and the Bicolor would be the best candidates for your tank.

Thats if you want to stick to blennies. If you want some other suggestions, I reccomend a Mithrax (Emrald) Crab, or possibly a Foxface.
