Do corydoras have much personality? I bought 3 1" specimens ( very nice, about 3 dollars each ) And one of them is very sedentary. No physical harm or anything to him, I cant see anything on his body, his fins and color are great. All the other corydoras and rasboras in the tank they were in were, as well, doing great. Might he just be a lazy fish? They are floating right now...gonna put them in now...

All three of them are racing around, against the black sand. sometimes they go fast and skim the sides of their bodies against the sand/small white gravel
So, they ok? I've never had corydoras before. They went to work in the sand almost immediatly

I think that they'll be okay. Many are just lazy, but they perk up after a little bit.

As far as your 'lazy' cory, I'd definitely keep an eye on him.

I had a cory once that kept to itself, didn't move around much, and was pretty much just a recluse. After about a week or so he started swimming awkwardly, and them died... all without any outward physical signs of disease.

As far as the racing around, mine do that all the time, they even have fun racing around and playing with my danios. :)

I have 4 albino and 1 spotted. They go in spirts. They'll sit like a pack of wolves in the same corner under a plant for hours not hardly moving and then they'll work like busy beavers for long stretches. Mine have always done that. They get lazy ocassionally. Nothing to be alarmed about.
